We are looking for a Release Manager  for a project based in Porto. 

Context:

We are looking for an experienced person, who will gradually increase both in functional and  technical knowledge on the application processing chain on the client. 

The candidate will be a member of the development team and as such may take part in the developments of light maintenances or bug fixes.
The candidate will be mainly responsible for the releasing process of the application and the entire bench chain.

Responsabilities:

The candidate will have to:

Ensure release management in order to consolidate the existing production implementation workflow.

Guarantee the delivery rate: weekly

Ensure that the chain in pre-production runs smoothly:

• Completeness & Performance analysis.
• Analysis of the discrepancies between the bench chain and the production line.
• Prepare delivery packages for submission to the production team         

Propose improvements to the release process

Propose improvements to the process

Assist the BA team in their pre-production tests.

Support end-users and BA in the simulation tests (what-if scenario).

Key skills:

• C#
• SQL (preferably T-SQL)
• Practice of a scheduler (ideally Control M)
• Powershell
• Basic knwoledge on Hadoop & Hive

This position requires a great autonomy and technical know-how in the massive processing of data (data extraction requests, data analysiss, etc.). Therefore, knowledge of scripting technologies is an asset.
