Mission:

Altran is searching for a RAN/CORE Technical Director (W/M) for Lisbon.

 Profile:

• A Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering discipline (Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications etc);
• Minimum experience in Similar Roles or Projects 10 years;
• Experienced and with good knowledge at Portuguese MNOs CORE Teams;
• Rich exposure in Service delivery, Fault management, Project Management, Network planning/Optimization and primarily Operations. Extensive cross-functional experience;
• Excellent leadership and influencing skills to drive Core Design Team deliverables and collaboration with other Networks and IT departments;
• High Level of English language knowledge both written and spoken;
• Knowledge of the Portuguese Telecom Market and Portugal Cultural and Geography knowledge is desired too;
• Experience in working with Chinese companies and corporate culture is preferable;
• Knowledge on the CORE and VAS Network Elements (HSS, HLR, EIR, GGSN, PGW, MSC-G, MGW-G, DRA /STP, SCEF, SMS-C and related OSS / EMS systems) design topologies and integrations deployments;
• Knowledge on standard 3GPP/3GPP2 interfaces and protocols such as LADP, Socket/SOAP, Radius, S6a/S13, S6b, S1-MME, Gb, Gh, MAP, H248/SIGTRAN, SIP, BSSAP+, SMPP 3.3&3.4, Diameter, FTP, XML, SNMP, NTP, etc. to be defined and configured;
• Knowledge on standards cloudification and virtualization of CORE platforms;
• Experience troubleshooting the TCP/IP protocol suite, as well as SIM, MGCP, IMAP, SMTP, SMPP, INAP, CAMEL and WIN protocols;
• Experience performing engineering systems design (HLD to LLD);
• Experience in SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting;
• Experience designing and troubleshooting CORE and VAS systems;
• Experience creating, revising and executing engineering system acceptance test cases;
• High degree of flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
