A day as a Quality Assurance Engineer:

Review product requirements and technical specifications;
Write test plans, test cases and test procedures;
Perform both new functionality and regression tests;
Automate related testing activities;
Document software defects on a bug tracking system, assist Software Developers in their analysis and verify their successful resolution;
Provide accurate status/test reports to project management;
Communicate with development, project management and customer stakeholders when necessary;
Assure that the product meets the requirements and the stakeholders expectations and is free from defects and errors.

Your out-of-the-box skills:

Degree in Computer Science or related field (Informatic Engineering, Design and Multimedia, New Technologies Communication, etc) and/or proven work experience in software QA testing;
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes and SDLC;
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
Experience in functional testing of mobile and web apps across different platforms;
Experience in non-functional testing is a plus;
Basic knowledge on SQL, scripting and programming languages;
Knowledge of automation testing techniques, with experience with tools for end-to-end and api based tests;
Familiar with CI/CD and source code quality analysis tools and configuration;
Attention to detail;
Ability to work independently and as a team player, as needed;
Critical thinker, problem-solving and debugging skills;
Great interpersonal and communication skill;
Good English writing and verbal communication skills.
