b_create is a collaborative, easy-to-use platform designed to help companies integrate and manage their product development processes, from idea to market. We already have a customer base that includes some of the biggest wine & beverage companies in Portugal.

In order to follow our growth strategy and expand our business to other international markets, we are expanding our engineering team.

This QA Engineer role offers the opportunity to ensure technical integrity and quality of our product through rigorous testing. You will work as part of our Product Development team and operate within an agile software development framework alongside our architects, software developers and other team members.

Our team of engineers develop the core technological components of our product. As a QA Engineer you will be the data quality expert who will be designing and developing the methods and systems to measure and ensure the quality of software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with your team in designing and implementing the quality and monitoring process and tools, to ensure our systems are continuously tracked and measured for quality
• Prevention of early-stage implementation issues by having a close collaboration with developers
• Design, maintenance, execution and evaluation of tests
• Review of software requirements and technical specification documentation
• Execute of tests (both manual and automated)
• Design and build tools and components that enable better, reliable and efficient testing
• Research and contribute to defining testing standards and best practices for our Engineering team.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• A degree (BA+) in computer science or a completed relating apprenticeship with according professional experience
• Meets criteria to apply for internship (mandatory)
• knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures and Object-Oriented Design
• Knowledge in C#, HTML, JavaScript and Microsoft SQL Server
• Qualifications in the area of software testing (beneficial)
• Passionate about quality and concerned about customer/end-user perspective
• Fluency in English and good communication skills (mandatory)
