Vestas is currently seeking to fill a Python Developer position at our Data, Simulation & Modelling team, Design Centre Porto, Portugal. The position is globally responsible for development and implementation of new tools and methodologies for adequate climatic evaluation, wind resource mapping and micro siting.

Principais responsabilidades

Responsibilities:

• You will be one of the key drivers of designing and developing the applications built in the framework of Vestas Power Solutions but mainly from the Data, Simulation & Modelling project portfolio.
• Working closely with specialists/engineers to determine technical direction of solutions across departments.
• Design and implement functional requirements.
• Build efficient back-end features in Python.
• Manage testing and bug fixes.
• Promote good coding practices within the team.
• Prepare technical documentation.
• Interfacing with stakeholders, 3rd party consultants and other partners.
• Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements.
• Ensuring timely delivery, quality and meeting project deliverables on time in full.
