Cycloid – Technology and Consulting Lda., is looking for talented and passionate Project Manager which will work closely to our CTO and will be responsible for a Unit, leading, managing, developing the team, setting the direction and define, implement and manage projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.

Main responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team by setting goals, managing performance, support the team with coaching, feedback and development plans;
• Contribute to the hiring, training and development plans;
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, define tasks and allocate resources;
• Create schedule, project timeline, track deliverables, monitor and report on progress;
• Present to stakeholders’ (including the customer) reports on progress as well as problems and solutions;
• Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs;
• Evaluate and assess result of projects;
• Ensure collaboration of managed team across different stockholders and adherence to the defined practices and processes.

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management;
• Experience of project management in sectors/services as Utilities, Finance, Insurance, Energy, interactive Multimedia/Multiscreen OTT, IoT, etc is an advantage;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams;
• Excellent knowledge of Project Manager Methodologies (Certification on PMP or Agile (preferred);
• Excellent knowledge of software, application design and architecture;
• Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management;
• Experience of leading scrum teams & sprint ceremonies;
• Leading Agile and/or Project management best practices (code reviews, unit tests, etc.);
• Experienced in driving Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery preferable using Agile methodologies;
• Familiar with doing solutions architecture;
• Nice to have, experience in server-side programming (C# preferred);
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to persuasively deliver presentations to senior executives, partners and customers;
• Puts the customer experience first, challenges the status quo, intellectually curious with a solution-oriented attitude;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in combination with technical savvy to make good decisions in a dynamic environment;
• Ability to work effectively towards tight deadlines;
• Good organization and planning skills;
• Excellent written and spoken language skills in English (B2)
