We are growing our Portuguese team so we’re looking for a person who can define and validate the scope, beeing the Project Manager of the Delivery Process. The perfect candidate need to demonstrates leadership qualities including: a sense of vision, ability to motivate and inspire others, solve problems, meet deadlines, and confident. Excellent presentation and communication skills including written, verbal, and listening skills
Your responsibilities include:
Planning:
- Define and Validate Project Scope (e.g. define project vision, conduct stakeholder needs analysis; identify project priorities)
- Create Project Plan and Schedule (e.g. estimate work required; validate and translate into tasks and duration)
- Select and Apply Standards (e.g. define delivery process, roles & responsibilities, and operational norms; ensure team compliance)
- Identify information requirements and gather necessary data (e.g. via interviewing, secondary research, etc.) and analyze and interpret impacts and risks to business decisions and outcomes
- Assess Risk (e.g. identify risks and create mitigation plans)
- Define Metrics (e.g. identify measures for success)
Execution:
- Manage Project Delivery Process (e.g. drive project through the different project phases, manage resources and headcount, track progress, identify, escalate, and resolve issues; make recommendations and determine project direction)
- Manage Scope (e.g. analyze impacts to project, clarify dependencies, constraints, assumptions; evaluate and administer scope change requests)
- Manage Project Costs (e.g. estimate / forecast project funding; request budget and make reallocation decisions as needed; ensure project is within budget)
- Close Project (e.g. drive completion of project; manage project transition to client or business owner, conduct post project assessment)
- Ensure Infrastructure is in place (e.g. on-going support)
Stakeholders & Communication:
- Manage Stakeholder Relationships (e.g. identify and engage stakeholders; clarify expectations)
- Facilitate Meetings and Manage Information (e.g. develop and execute communication plan related to project, and report status)
- Influences others to make decisions and take actions aimed at achieving common objectives that ultimately benefit the entire enterprise
- Consult and Partner with others, offer views and advice that add value and perspective to situations
- Recognizes conflict as soon as it becomes apparent; clarifies differing needs; and executes appropriate strategies to resolve issues
Change Management:
- Drive Change (e.g. identify impacts to delivery, build awareness and support for change within the organization) Other/General Management:
- Create Roadmap (e.g. identify and prioritize projects and/or tracks of work and translate into integrated delivery schedule and timeline)
- Business Acumen – Develops an insightful view of the overall business landscape, including financial and customer/client business drivers; and applies that understanding or interpretation to one's own assignments as well as the organization
- Leads medium size projects throughout the Project Life Cycle, (Engagement, Initiation, Planning, Execution and Transition) or a portion of a larger, more complex project
- Receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments
You must have:
- Holds Bachelors’ degree or equivalent
- AT LEAST 5 years of related project management experience
- Fluent in English, any other language nice to have
- Prince 2 or PMP qualified, other Project Management certifications will be appreciated
- Experienced in leading cross-functional programs or projects
