Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
•Understand the application landscape, develop expertise of the application/s and understand various interfaces involved;
•Contribute to checking’s & validation of production changes and application restart;
•Manage incidents according to Service Delivery GITSDE / ITIL Standards, and in coordination with other teams, including production teams;
•Re-instate services as soon as possible whenever an incident occurs;
•Identify recurring Issues and service Request and define action plans to reduce them.
Main Technical Requirements:
•Experience of the financial services industry;
•Experience and ability to perform technical analysis, identify impacts (functional/technical);
•Good understanding of RDBMS concepts;
•Knowledge of Oracle, Sybase or SQL Server;
•Experience with Unix and its standard commands;
•Knowledge of DataStage TX and PowerShell Scripts.
Other Requirements:
•Fluent in English;
•Ability to simplify complex problems and obtain a workable solution;
•Customer focus and service delivery;
•EU citizenship
