Our client is looking for a Product Owner to expand their team.

Client Details

Our client helps pharma & biotech manufacturers to improve production processes for medicines such as tablets or vaccines. Their new and fast growing business unit is on a mission to extend their product portfolio in the context of Industry 4.0 and Digitalization. They are building up a comprehensive data driven product portfolio that, together with their market leading Manufacturing Execution System, addresses the needs of their customers on their journey towards the digital pharma factory. Working in an agile setup, we aim to achieve a fast time-to-market for the first version (MVP) for each of our products.

Description

• You will be responsible for the management of the assigned product through its entire life cycle from ideation through product market fit to stable roadmap evolution
• You will define product scope by roadmap and backlog management and manage the implementation as a member of an agile scrum development team
• You will prioritize stories and epics to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product roadmap
• You will engage with potential and existing customers to understand market requirements for the product
• You will attend events such as conferences and customer meetings for information gathering
• You will manage the internal reporting and stakeholder management
• You will coordinate the internal rollout into the delivery organization in the product market launch phase

• You have an analytical mindset and excellent communication skills
• You have relevant experience with agile development methods
• You have a relevant university degree or a comparable course of studies
• You have at least 3 years of experience in building digital or software products
• You have the proven ability to motivate teams in a matrix organization
• You have the at least some experience with software development in the regulated life science industry
• You have some knowledge of DCS or MES systems and their use in the process industry
• You are fluent in verbal and written English
