To reinforce our Product Team, Neadvance is looking to hire a Product and Testing Analyst to be based in our office in Braga (Sequeira).

Responsibilities

• Support the team in writing and maintaining the backlog within a certain quality standards (some requirements definition might be needed);
• Analyze requirements for all new updates and prepare a query list. If requirements are unclear, present clear questions and rewrite them to help perform testing effectively;
• Write and execute test cases in defined tool set to find UI, UX and system bugs 
• Conduct exploratory testing and check consistency across devices, browsers, and operating systems
• Provide ongoing input to the development team on test scenarios, challenges, risks, resources, test estimates and anything else that may impact the performance, UI or UX
• Write test automation scripts using a defined tool set (API: Postman, Functional: Robot Framework; Performance: Jmeter)
• Provide final technical signoff on product releases
• Accurately document bugs and feature requests in Jira and work with customer support to properly prioritize them
• Contribute for the Confluence based knowledge base

Skills

• Understanding of software testing, concepts, and processes including bug life cycle, different testing levels, methods, and types and test estimation techniques
• Ability to work in an Agile environment
• Critical thinking and analytical skills related to bug reports and test prioritization
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic programming skills such as basic SQL knowledge, XML, general web development skills, and web services
• Working knowledge of:
• API testing tools, ideally postman;
• Functional testing tools. Ideally robot framework;
• Performance Testing Tools, ideally Jmeter
• Continuous Integration, ideally gitlab
• Git, ideally gitlab
• Hability to adapt quickly to new realities since we apply a Lean Startup concept and we constantly readjust to the feedback we receive;
• Critical sense to able to produce software with quality. 
• Experience in analysing complex problems
• Proactive. 
• Organized.
• Communicative.
• Self-learning. 

Other requirement, not mandatory

• ISTQB Foundations, Test Analyst and Test Automation Engineer certification. 
• Previous experience in testing low code platforms
• Previous software development experience in web environments;
