The job

We're looking to hire someone keen to have her/his work served 50+ million times per month in Portugal, and growing. Join our team of six developers and designers.

We all know how to work with each other in a flat hierarchy that allows us to have considerable ownership of our tasks, so that we can continuously improve and launch a variety of functionalities on observador.pt

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience
• Very good programming skills with PHP
• Very good programming skills with Javascript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with MySQL
• Knowledge of Linux terminal

Nice to haves notions of

• PHP in Wordpress context
• Redis or others NoSql databases
• Knowledge of message queue systems (like Rabbit, ActiveMQ, etc)
• Familiarity with Google cloud/Amazon Web Services or other cloud platforms

Some more details

• Location: Alvalade, Lisbon or Remote (must be on PT timezone)
• Salary depending on experience
