Description

Here at Mindera, we are building a world class team and would love it for you to join us. As a PHP Developer you will be challenged to use the most recent technologies and frameworks to build and maintain web applications and services. Some examples are: Laravel, Symfony, Yii, and all the other variants. You have a good understanding of the MVC pattern and like to keep your code safe by writing unit tests, to prove that the logic you’ve implemented is right and eventually prepare for future changes. You will always keep your code versioned by using a version control system (preferable git). You are comfortable using Linux systems on either development and production environment and you know how to configure and maintain a web server such as Nginx or Apache HTTP Server. You will maintain MySQL/MariaDB databases and use ORM frameworks to communicate with them.

You will also bring your frontend skills, and develop client-side scripts using Angular, jQuery and/or others.

National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organisational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

You are good at

• Working directly with the client to ensure the technical feasibility of the requirements.
• Service oriented architectures, design patterns and data structures.
• Test-driven development and continuous delivery.
• Object-oriented programming and Model-View-Controller pattern.
• Metrics, performance, and operational aspects that show you care about your code.
• SEO concepts and implementations.
• Using Linux distribution systems.
• Caching services (preferable Varnish).
• Using version control systems (preferable git)

You rock at

• Problem solving and demonstrable logic.
• Building server-side and client-side application using PHP, Javascript and HTML.
• Create and maintain MySQL/MariaDB Databases.
• Understanding of security and performance concepts when developing and deploying modern web applications.
• Using one of the following PHP frameworks: Laravel, Symfony, Yii, Cake or Zend.
• Developing client-side scripts with JavaScript.
