Dellent is a Portuguese consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, focused mainly on IT and Telecommunication services, and we are hiring PHP Developer for a long term contract role in Oporto. As a PHP Developer you will be challenged to use the most recent technologies and frameworks to build and maintain web applications and services. 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Working directly with the client to ensure the technical feasibility of the requirements;
• Service oriented architectures, design patterns and data structures;
• Test-driven development and continuous delivery;
• Object-oriented programming and Model-View-Controller pattern;
• Metrics, performance, and operational aspects that show you care about your code;
• Using Linux distribution systems;
• Developing client-side scripts with JavaScript.
• Caching services (preferable Varnish);
• Using version control systems (preferable git);
• Building server-side and client-side application using PHP, Javascript and HTML;
• Create and maintain MySQL/MariaDB Databases;
• Understanding of security and performance concepts when developing and deploying modern web applications;
• Using one of the following PHP frameworks: Laravel, Symfony, Yii, Cake or Zend;
• Problem solving and demonstrable logic.
