Stefanini is hiring Oracle database administrators to join one of our main clients operating in Lisbon.

A professional Database Administrator (DBA) will keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7. The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users.

This role can take place 100% remotely or in a hybrid mode (with in-person activities in Lisbon’s office).

Responsibilities:

• Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user's specialized role;
• Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views;
• Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner;
• Produce standards and processes development for Database infrastructure services worldwide;
• Provide world class operational services to support and maintain the back office related services;
• Support IT strategy by supporting new and existing services;
• Participate in the implementation of new services;
• Support new product deployments with installation, integration, testing, documentation, and training;
• Assist in implementation of plans that enhance technical operation, compliance with rules and regulations, and permit the deployment of new technology and support them;
• Plan, coordinate and implement security measures against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure;
• Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities;

Role Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience acting as an Oracle DBA;
• Experience with Oracle Linux and Red Hat;
• Experience with Linux and Unix environments;
• Availability to work on-call;

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with Solaris, HP-UX and AIX;
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware;
• Experience with IBM WebSphere;
• Experience with Oracle Data Guard solutions;
