What are you going to do?

  • Maintenance of databases in operational condition (production and non-production);
  • Analyze activity (incidents, requests) then develop and implement corrective actions;
  • Treatment of changes requests;
  • Optimization of database engines and SQL code;
  • Developing scripts and any automated solutions that can ease the activity;
  • Preventive maintenance and control of these maintenances;
  • Responding to requests from developers, application administrators and infrastructures teams;
  • Participate in business projects on the design and implementation of databases (DBMS, volumetry, high availability);
  • Maintenance of operational documentation (processes, workflows, tasks, etc);
  • Realization of business continuity and availability exercises.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or similar;
  • 4 years + of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator;
  • Experience with Oracle 11g, Oracle 12c and/or Oracle 19c;
  • Solid experience in debugging and troubleshooting;
  • Experience with Oracle RAC and Single Instance;
  • Experience with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN);
  • Experience with Oracle Dataguard;
  • Experience with Oracle, MySQL, Sybase and/or Hadoop (plus);
  • Strong interpersonal and communicational skills;
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory).
