Randstad Professionals is recruiting for a client that acts in the information and communication technology sector and wants to reinforce its structure with a Operations Manager NOC (m/f).

This role includes the following tasks:

- Manages, motivates and develops a team of technical specialists, ensuring that the service levels are met;
- Establishes relationships with customers and a range of managers across Fujitsu to act as a respected technical interface both internally and externally to exhibit confidence that we can deliver and enhance their service;
- Establishes and manages risk for the team’s technical skill levels and adequate resources to ensure that risks are mitigated and problems resolved, in relation to meeting our commitments;
- Resource allocation/scheduling to meet the demands of delivering a service, taking into account changing priorities or issues on services of a small to medium capacity. Uses strengths of team to achieve effective and efficient delivery of service within Service Level Agreement;
- Anticipates the impact of business issues on own team and takes appropriate action. Is responsible for monitoring and controlling issues;
- Using strengths of team to achieve effective and efficient delivery of service. Ensure the delivery of services to meet SLAs as a minimum, always striving towards improvements, with impeccable service as the ultimate goal;
- Focus and attention is primarily on the specific services which the team is delivering to their current Customer base. Responsible for improving core skills, adopting standard processes and encouraging re-use;
- Ensure adherence to agreed strategic tool-set, emphasizing the need for improved deployment and usage.

requisitos/requirements
The main requirements are the following:

- Degree in IT or similar area;
- German preferable;
- Minimum of 3 years commercial networking experience;
- Cisco CCNP or CCIE;
- In depth working knowledge and experience of networking technologies, i.e. LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching and subnet addressing;
- Proven track record and experienced in the following technologies and products;
- Excellent working knowledge of networking hardware, especially from the Cisco Catalyst family, i.e. Cisco 29xx, 35xx, 37xx, 38xx Cisco 26xx routers, 6500 switches, Cisco Nexus family;
- Excellent knowledge of Brocade products (access, distribution and core);
- WLAN experience is essential;
- WLAN Controller;
- Access Points;
- Experience of small, medium and complexity changes to network infrastructure – IMAC;
- Working knowledge of Legacy technologies;
- Avaya switching;
- Load Balancers;
- Citrix;
- Big IP F5;
- DDI - Infoblox;
- IPAM;
- DNS;
- DHCP;
- Depth of knowledge and experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, e.g. CA Spectrum and E-Health;
- Able to interpret trends in network performance and identify potential issues;
- Fluency in English.
