Minimum qualifications:

• Master's degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, Library/Information Science, Philosophy or a related field
• Experience with ontology development (RDF(S)/OWL, SPARQL, Semantic Web and Analytics, Linked Data, Knowledge Graphs 
• Coding experience in Python and SQL.
• 5 years Business Analysts and/or Data Analyst on Financial Services

Preferred qualifications…

• Ph.D. in a related field
• Native English speaker 

About the job…

• Ability to interpret natural language and business terminology into precise, complex knowledge graph models.
• Deploy ontologies, taxonomies, models and other structures to identify and fill knowledge graphs to represent and classify entities,  assets, products, services, relations, and processes.
• Work with Enterprise Data Governance programs.
• Integrate unstructured, semi-structured, and well-structured data and metadata.
• Work with Data Scientists in natural language processing and understanding, phonology, phonetics, syntax, semantics, experimental design, statistics, linguistics.
• Understand large scale data acquisition of any combination.
• Unify schemas using  Data Fabric, Federation and Virtualisation of silo data stores.
• Evolve Knowledge Graph by continuous development of knowledge models describing how entities relate to one another.

What you will learn …

As an Ontologist, you will learn graph modelling a and analyse graph structures and content, develop new semantic representations and work with sources and consumers of data to create. You will incentivise knowledge structures to improve entity accessibility, enable automated reasoning and enable new insights from linked data using semantic modelling techniques

Responsibilities…

• Analyse graph structures and content and develop new semantic representations.
• Make decisions and provide guidance about ontologies and semantic representations.
• Write code to gather, process, and analyse various data structures and types.
• Work with data engineers and data scientists to develop new techniques and improve analysis from Knowledge Graph.
