We are looking for a Network Technician for a project based in Valência (Spain) or Brindisi (Italy). This job will start remotely until the virus situation is normalized.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Maintain and administer switches and routers in the supported ICT network infrastructure.
• Maintain and administer IPBX in the supported ICT voice infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain standard configurations of monitoring and analysis tools.
• Conduct final testing and deployment of LAN/ WAN and Voice solutions as well as all related technical documentation. 
• Assist with the resolution of incidents and problems related to LAN/WAN and Voice environment.
• Be responsible for addressing and resolving service requests in support of other technical teams.
• Provide stand-by services and overtime, when required.

Required Skills:

• Minimum five years of experience working on IT preferably in large WAN or Datacenter environments.
• Good knowledge of Cisco IOs, NX-OS, Cisco ACI, including the managements of routers and switches.
• Good knowledge of Data Center operations including the management of Core and Distribution layer switches o Good knowledge of content networking equipment including server load balancing, content switching, caching and acceleration like Citrix Netscaler, Cisco ACE , F5 BIG-IP or Cisco WAAS.
• Good Knowledge of Wide Area Network, experience on using different routing protocols.
• Good knowledge of network security including firewalls, VPN, intrusion detection/prevention devices.
• Good knowledge of network management tools and practices.
• Good knowledge of automation and scripting techniques, preferably Ansible and other languages applied to Cisco environments o Basic knowledge of voice and video over IP including voice transport, termination and related Quality of Services.
• Experience in drafting technical documents.
• Exposure in Information Security Management System (ISMS: ISO 27001), ITIL and ISO 20000 framework and other industry standard related best practices.
• Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required.
• Valuable:
  • Experience with VMware and NSX.
  • Knowledge of Cloud like Azure and AWS environments.
  • Cisco certifications
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Knowledge of Spanish or Italian.
