NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER

We are searching for a Network Security Engineer to work in Porto or Lisbon!

Responsibilities:

• Plan, engineer, and monitor the security arrangements for the protection of the network systems;
• Identify and define the requirements of the overall security of the system;
• Configure and implement intrusion detection systems and firewalls and install security infrastructure devices;
• Test the system for weaknesses and vulnerabilities in software and hardware and investigate incidents;
• Maintenance of firewalls, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email security;
• Determine the latest technologies and processes that improve the overall security of the system;
• Define and maintain security policies;
• Maintain switches and servers.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or related field;
• Hands-on experience in the telecommunications and network fields;
• Experience with the design and architecture of solutions with components of routing, switching, wifi, security, collaboration, virtualization and data center;
• CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, HCNA, MCSA or equivalent certifications;
• Good communication skills in English.
