Summary:

The .NET Developer will be responsible for the implementation of the company’s web application. The company is building a modular SaaS platform that empowers community growth and management.

This person will be reporting directly to the company’s CTO. The keys to success in this position are providing feasible solutions from a technical perspective and communicating effectively with the product and engineering teams. Strong backend development skills are required, in particular with C#, .NET Core and .NET framework. The application has been built on the .NET framework, but it is currently being migrated to .NET Core. Any new services are supposed to be built in .NET Core, following a microservices architecture. Previous experience with cloud solution providers and NoSQL databases would be valuable.

The company’s growth relies on the successful release of new modules that provide much needed functionality for the product. This person will severely impact the continuous delivery and improvement of the application’s modules.

Objectives:

• After 1 month, be fully onboard on the company’s web application and deliver minor features independently.

• After 3 months, deliver major features independently, suggest the implementation of business rules and provide assistance with application architecture design;

• Communicate effectively with the tech co-founder and with the other frontend developers in the team to establish priorities and plan a roadmap.

• Suggest the development of relevant features and fixes to potential problems.
