We are looking for a Middleware Administrator for a project based in Valencia, Spain.
Mandatory:
- The selected candidate will be required to travel for induction and training to Customers Premises located in Manila, Philippines for a period between 1.5 to 3 months.
- The selected candidate must have excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of Spanish or another language is desirable
Junior profiles welcome with either a bachelor degree in IT/computer science or 3 years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team
- Good communication skills (oral/written)
- Work as a member of the domain/area team:
- Production support
- Troubleshoot complex problems; familiarity with ITIL best practices; engage in incident and problem management; including engagement in governance processes as needed e.g. CAB (Change Advisory Board) participation
- Full engagement in the maintenance lifecycle of applicable equipment/processes in the respective domain/area
- Monitor and escalate as needed for any anomalies of the system in their respective domain
- Project support as a technical member
- Ownership of Disaster Recovery procedures including documentation, coordination with other teams, development of procedures; Ownership of activation procedures in an actual event
- Collaborate with other teams as needed
- Technical documentation and review with knowledge of industry best practices
- Knowledge of cloud computing technology
- Familiarity with business continuity framework
Task and responsibilities:
- Access Manager/Authentication
- Run the IBM-ISAM distributed infrastructure (federation Advanced Auth, Azure AD)
- Filenet/CPD/J2EE
- administer Websphere application servers and a bespoke J2EE e-Banking application called CPD.
Mandatory Required skills:
- Solid background in J2EE, Java application server administration (ie: installing Java app server from scratch, tuning, deploying apps).
Preferred additional skills:
- Knowledge of access management systems (IBM ISAM, Oracle Webgate, Siteminder, etc.)
- Knowledge of identity federation and advanced access concepts such as: (a) Multifactor authentication (MFA), (b) Conditional access
- Knowledge on access concepts such as: Push Notification Login, TOTP/HOTP, Token Binding, U2F, etc.
- Knowledge of Java development
- Knowledge in middleware systems
- Knowledge in containerization on docker
