Microsoft Security Architect @ Stefanini Portugal

Description

Stefanini EMEA is currently looking for a seasoned Microsoft Security Architect to join our Cyber Security Team.
This role will collaborate with multiple functional teams, act as primary point of contact and work alongside the key Customer stakeholders to Engineer, Design & Integrate requirements, and initiatives for our customers Microsoft environments.

This is a long-term role and it takes place with a full-remote work model.

Work schedule: business hours on CET - Central European Time - time zone.

Availability to work on-call on business days is appreciated.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve in an advisory capacity on strategic deals and lead complex engagements;
  • Deliver executive level workshops with Customer stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of their business initiatives, security programs, security operations and current security gaps and/or needs;
  • Engage in advanced security architecture discussions with Customers and prospective Customers; develop, plan, analyze, estimate and establish priorities for the components that will be made, as well as the phases and deadlines for the project;
  • Present Stefanini EMEA Cyber Security Services from a technical and business perspective;
  • Participate in and deliver POCs as requested by the Customer;
  • Maintain security runbooks, policies and solution diagrams as necessary;
  • Lead the implementation of new initiatives and security measures;

 

Professional skills and required qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional IT experience in either, but not limited to systems administration, systems engineering, and/or TCP/IP network administration;
  • At least 7 years of experience with Microsoft products & technologies;
  • Good knowledge and experience implementing Security best practices for a Windows environment;
  • Good understanding of Microsoft 365 platform capabilities;
  • Good understanding of Microsoft 365 endpoint security, compliance, and identity management services in or between an on-premises environment and an Azure Microsoft 365 tenant, not limited to review of existing environment, architectural planning, and customer workshops;
  • Good experience and knowledge with Microsoft 365 Defender;
  • Knowledge & experience with ADFS;
  • Experience and knowledge with AD and Group Policies;
  • Good understanding of CA, PKI, Certificate best practices, disable\removal of vulnerable cert templates, etc.;
  • Good understanding of Infrastructure Security best practices;
  • Additional experience with various security technology platforms such as, but not limited to: SIEM, AV, ETDR, DLP, Azure Information Protection, Email Security;
  • A sound knowledge of IT security best practices, common attack types and detection/prevention methods including malware, emerging threats, attacks, and vulnerability management;
  • TCP/IP knowledge, networking and security product experience;
  • Experience in Linux and Windows system administration, troubleshooting, and secure configuration;
  • Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills;
  • Experience assisting the development and maintenance of tools, procedures, and documentation;
  • Customer service including the resolution of customer escalations, incident handling, and response;
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
