As a Cloudware solution developer, you should be well acquainted with the Microsoft development environment. Good knowledge and understanding of ASP.NET core, C#, Blazor are a must for the back-end coding;
Some handiwork with HTML, CSS and JavaScript will be important for the front-end development;
While good understanding of SQL and LINQ will provide the perfect base for handling databases behind the complex business scenario's our customers provide.

Building web solutions on top of the Microsoft ecosystem and specifically the Microsoft 365 environments Azure, Web Apps, Azure Active Directory, DevOps, Dynamics 365 - Business Central, … will become an important part of your knowledge. While it's definitely a plus having experience with these platforms and technologies, it is not a strict requirement.

Being a Belgium based company, with headquarters in West Flanders (Waregem) and natively speaking Flemish (Dutch), Cloudware is searching for interested people with good communicative skills. As a remote team member in a scrum team, it is key to keep everyone up to date in an efficient way to short-circuit possible issues or misunderstandings about task descriptions. Using the communication tools at hand in a correct and pragmatic way will be essential. Therefor fluently speaking and writing English is a strict minimum requirement. Additionally having knowledge of French and/or Dutch is worth mentioning.

As you might know, Belgium is (at least lingual) divided by a language barrier. Wallonia (French) and Flanders (Flemish/Dutch) speaking, while Cloudware is situated in the Flemish part, it isn't unusual to work with Wallonian companies.)

What do we want you to do?

Your role is to analyze user requirements, design, code and test web applications. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying specifications throughout the product lifecycle, provide status reports where required; analyze and amend errors in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide support to other departments where required. For all this you will be guided and assisted by our development team lead.
You are responsible for developing business-changing enterprise solutions with leading-edge technologies.

As a fully integrated team member, you use clear goals to communicate the project vision at the beginning of every release and sprint so that the team understands and is equipped to realize it. The ideal candidate would have experience developing web applications using Microsoft and compatible technologies or is driven and passionate to implement his skills in new areas to create business-changing cloud solutions.

You will also have to help starting up the remote workplace in Porto or it’s vicinity.
