Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company, in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. What are you going to do?

• Computer-Aided Design of slip ring assemblies and related parts;
• Interface with Manufacturing Assembly Integration and Test department, as well as suppliers and clients;
• Manage production documentation (Bill of material, Drawings, wiring diagram - 3D & PCB files, reports);
• Specific technical part procurement (PCB);
• Technical evolution follow-up with project stakeholders;
• 3D printing part manufacturing;
• From customer specification, develop & design compliant, robust, and cost-efficient technical solutions in close collaboration with the Engineers;
• Design of the 3D models and 2D drawings (Assembly drawing, I/F drawing, wiring diagram, parts, PCB);
• Create manufacturing files (STEP IGES, DXF, Gerber file…);
• Elaboration of the BoM (parts list);
• Elaborate technical documentation such as: assembly instructions, manufacturing report (dimensions control list for specific parts), flowcharts, evolution descriptive;
• Update Manufacturing files according to product evolutions;
• Able to exchange with suppliers on technical topics;
• Design concept for M&S proposals. 

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• + 5 years experience in designing complex electrical and mechanical products;
• Experience in simulation, testing and qualification, ideally related to space or defense industries;
• CFC Industrial designer in mechanic with at least 3-5 years experience or technician/engineer oriented or mechanical engineering (HES) or equivalent;
• Relevant experience in electro-mechanic design (applications, for example, aerospace, vacuum, scientific instruments, defense industries, MedTech, …);
• Good knowledge of PTC Pro-Engineer software and PLM as an asset;
• Experience in Slipring design (plus);
• Any specialist expertise is welcome (Foundry, sheet metal work, welding …);
• High proficiency in English, spoken and written (mandatory).
