What you will be doing:

• Investigate and deliver the technology in order to implement structured and resilient solutions and architectures capable of handling tomorrow’s demands
• Work as part of an international team developing a 4G EPC / 5G core that is the foundation of the COCUS 5G Campus network proposition among other products.
• Define new products roadmaps and MVP scopes together with the Product Owner
• Responsible for definition of tech stack and architectures
• Ensure effort estimation and planning
• Rapid prototyping of products and services
• Development of new product and services applying appropriate design patterns
• Lead the development team as a team lead/technical influencer
• Coach/mentoring of team members

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineer or similar
• Proven experience in software development in C/C++. Other programming languages are a plus. 
• Proven experience with RESTful principles and microservices development
• Experience with Git or equivalent and Jenkins
• Knowledge in 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G technology and network protocols
• Proven experience in AWS or Google Cloud. Both are a plus
• Knowledge in Kubernetes and/or Docker is a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English
