Lead Quality Assurance Engineer @ Mindera

We are growing exponentially, and we are looking for a Lead QAE to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with engineers throughout the development and testing lifecycle and drive the design and development of automation scripts.
You will be confident in challenging business requirements to ensure you are continuously delivering the best possible outcome, harnessing innovation and driving adoption of new technologies to deliver business value. Your vision and ambition will contribute to shaping our online technology roadmap, influencing our future technical direction and balancing passion with precision to deliver exceptional online service and solutions for our customers.

National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

 

You're Good At

  • Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following languages JavaScript, Typescript
  • Demonstrable experience with any of the following automation tools: Cypress.io, Nightwatch, Selenium (Webdriver), Puppeteer
  • Experience of executing tests as part of CI/CD pipelines
  • Using source control systems e.g Git
  • Hands-on experience with automation as part of the delivery cycle, i.e. framework design, test creation, execution against iteration deliverables

You Rock At

  • Vast experience in Test Automation and excellent understanding of test automation best practices
  • It is important you feel comfortable influencing team discussions with the client on the project
  • Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose

What you will be doing

  • Coordinate QA/testing efforts
  • Write E2E tests and maintain the existing E2E test framework
  • Help with release strategy and deployment process
  • Leading a team of QA Engineers
  • Coach and mentor others on the team, regardless on seniority, working with them to build their expertise and understanding
