Randstad Professionals - Lead QA Engineer (m/f).

As a Lead Quality Engineer, you'll work with the Quality Engineering team to deliver and enhance test infrastructure at platform and client levels to help facilitate the successful release of quality products. You will be a technical leader on the team, working in collaboration with other Quality Engineers in guiding both hands on and strategic initiatives as it relates to the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of test infrastructure. In this role, you will provide technical solutions for development teams to help in testing their software effectively and efficiently.

This role includes the following tasks:

- Take ownership of the building and improving test infrastructure
- Be a technical leader in the Quality Engineering team
- Provide solutions for development teams to improve the testing of their code
- You breakdown work that your team can deliver upon that forms a single cohesive delivery
- Key Influencer in team strategy
- Resolve bottlenecks that affect the ease of use of testing infrastructure
- Bring the team together by resolving discordant views and finding a path forward
- You make appropriate architectural trade-offs (e.g. coarse or fine-grained service separation?)
- You take ownership of team architecture, providing a system-wide view and design guidance.
- You drive engineering engagement best practices (e.g., Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, etc.) and set standards within your team.


requisitos/requirements
The main requirements are the following:

- At least 5-year experience in developing testing infrastructure, part of it in a Lead capacity
- You have built test infrastructure at a platform level that is part of a continuous delivery pipeline that is reliable, has provided meaningful value to development teams and does not cause considerable drag. Examples could include service/API level integration tests, consumer-based contract testing.
- Excellent grasp in a broad range of data structures and algorithms.
- Solid understanding of test infrastructure design patterns and architectural principles.
- Expert in at least one modern programming language. Preferably Java.
- A good grasp on relational, non-relational databases, messaging queues and concurrency.
- Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and technologies, e.g. AWS or Azure.
- Passion to automate your work by using scripting languages e.g. Shell scripts.
