Join the Wolfpack as a Lead Java Developer (Hybrid - Lisbon).

What skills do you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Java Developer, with a demonstrated progression into leadership roles.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools.
• Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide team members.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices and design patterns.
• Continuous learning mindset and enthusiasm for staying current with technology trends.
• Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory).
• Good level of French - minimum B1 (valued).

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 Java developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Design, develop, and implement complex Java applications, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and drive project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership, guide architectural decisions, and ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives.
• Review and provide feedback on code written by team members, ensuring high standards of quality and maintainability.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation to maintain clear communication within the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, leveraging your deep understanding of Java development.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to agile development methodologies, delivering high-quality software in iterative cycles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to project planning and estimations.
