Description

As senior Software Engineer and technologist, you will focus on building software, taking ownership of projects end to end, managing a broad scope of software challenges and driving development in an iterative, agile manner while abiding by development best practices.

You will mentor the team and inspire developers and designers to follow.

Your duties:

// Plan and structure engineering projects

// Get hands on coding when necessary

// Capable of helping product owners to achieve business goals

// Ensure that delivery is on-track with the committed schedule

// Run, managing, and refining key engineering organisational processes

// Work day-to-day to improve how we plan, write, and deliver software

// Help develop best practices across the engineering team

// Run 1-1 meetings with your team members

// Support the code reviewing process, ensuring high-quality code is produced

Role requirements:

// 2+ years of full-stack software development experience

// Expertise in the full software development lifecycle, building and delivering products

// Orientation towards helping product owners to achieve business goals

// Experience managing projects from ideation to growth stage

Tech requirements:

* Expertise in MVC frameworks and building REST APIs

* Some degree of familiarity with Angular, React or Vue

* Familiarity with TDD practices

* Experience with version control workflows and tools (preferably Git)

* DevOps expertise is not mandatory but a huge plus
