The Systems Administrator main responsibilities include installing and configuring software, hardware and networks. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues. Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.

Job Description

The primary role is to provide L1 and L2 Application Support for WM applications deployed to European sites.  The activity implies responding, troubleshooting, fixing and providing constant update on the progress of the resolution of issues or requests.  It also enclose UAT management, UAT technical tests, and production implementation for projects and patch upgrades.

 

Responsabilities:

  • Log anomalies or applicative incidents upon call or email from Production team or users
  • Acknowledge each anomaly or applicative incident (through JIRA Service Desk)
  • According to the request / incident :
  • Perform the solution assistance requests received directly from user by any channel, such as phone, email, or walk-in (user access creation/modification, information requests, etc.)
  • Investigate and provide solution assistance requests received from Business Support or Helpdesk (database queries, functional diagnostic, etc.)
  • Define the hotfix and workaround requirement related more complex incident requests
  • Contribute to the preventive maintenance by permanent fix
  • Scheduling, tests of the delivered programs (quality and performance) with the team in charge of the developments
  • Coordination of the deployment with Production team in Switzerland
  • Work closely with development team
  • Work closely with all involved teams (user, production team)
  • Contribute to the package testing (technical test / functional test)
  • Provide constant and effective communication to the business users and other IT teams on the progress of their issues and requests
  • Participate to the regular committee with other teams involved and customer with respect to the Wealth management information system governance
  • Perform release integration by facilitating, organising UAT support, technical testing, interface testing
  • Manage application release production deployment with the development and deployment teams

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, related to technical field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as first & second-line (L1 and L2 support) IT Production Support for a business within a fast-paced and competitive environment
  • At least 2 years of experience providing Application  Support for a high priority application
  • Experience in providing effective communication to the business users and other IT teams  
  • Experience in Wealth management or private banking
  • Strong technical skills in database concepts and web application
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment and remote teams
  • Extensive experience in analytical techniques
  • Experience in Scrum methodology is a plus
