descrição da função/job description
· Production monitoring – second level problem analysis and resolution
· Report in the project/product team stand up meetings on operational KPIs such as, but not limited to availability, performance and capacity
· Updating Kafka/Kafka connect monitoring and alerting infrastructure in alignment with BIT
· guidelines and procedures
· Leading resolution of Kafka/Kafka Connect related production incidents/problems
· Together with project/product teams performing root cause analysis of production issues.
· Updating Kafka/ Kafka Connect as part of maintenance cycle or in case of reported vulnerabilities in coordination with project/product teams
· Kubernetes experience

Skills:
English communication skills
· Kafka/Kafka Connect setup
· Strimzi Kafka operator
· Kubernetes
· Platform components knowledge (Basic):
o Prometheus monitoring
o Helm
o Ansible
o ArgoCD
· Regular Linux expertise and scripting skills
· ELK stack
· YAML
· Software and system engineering concepts, especially cloud-native architecture and landscape

Nice to have
· K8s experience
· Documentation elaboration (operational procedures)
· Salt Stack Scripting

Personal Skills
· Ability to work in an international organisation (English communication skills are required)
· Ability to manage her- or him -self to solve complex problems

Certifications:
· CKA: Kubernetes Certified Administrator
