In Visor.ai we help big companies to automate interactions with their customers using Artificial Intelligence and Chatbots.

We are working with more than 20 clients from different sectors like Banks, Insurance Companies, Utilities, Public Sector, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, etc. Our team is based in Lisbon, Madrid and Aveiro, and we are currently expanding to other countries.

We are recruiting a Junior Software Engineer to join us at our Lisbon office and integrate a young and dynamic team, operating in a tech startup environment, composed of Software Engineers, Researchers, Product Managers and Business Developers.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of technical designs, code development, and component test execution to demonstrate alignment to the functional specification
• Applying knowledge of common, relevant architecture frameworks in defining and evaluating application architectures
• Performing code reviews and providing critical suggestions for fixes and improvements
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Participate regularly in an Agile team environment and schedule
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, Product managers, and other front end developers to create user friendly features and applications

Requirements:

• Up to 1 year experience with JavaScript application environments (Node.js)
• Knowledge of highly interactive web apps (HTML, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS)
• Experience with NoSQL Databases
• Understanding of client-server architecture;
• Knowledge on how to integrate web applications with API’s
• Good communication skills
• Design, build, and unit test software in a collaborative environment
• Write clear, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code
• Experience with HTML best practices
• Educational background in Computer Science or equivalent degree preferred
