Description
Requirements:
- Technical degree or equivalent at least;
- More than 1 year of experience as a service desk technician or other customer support role;
- Knowledge of SQL;
- Knowledge of Databases (SQL Server and Oracle is a plus);
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products;
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Customer orientation skills;
- Pro-activity, sense of responsibility and team spirit;
- Attention to detail;
- Knowledge in troubleshooting Application Servers (IIS), is a plus;
- Knowledge of System Administration;
- Written and oral fluency in English.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and functional support for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, email or self-service portal;
- Answer queries on technical issues and offer advice to solve them or solve then yourself;
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions;
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers;
- Walk the customer through the problem-solving process;
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel;
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs;
- Follow-up and update customer status and information;
- Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team;
- Identify and suggest possible improvements in procedures;

As an excellent Service Desk Technician, you must have high technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. You must also be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers.
