We are looking for young graduates in different areas of Engineering, with outstanding programming skills. This is an exciting and odd opportunity to become part of the ground engineering team in a fast-paced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry.

Based in Portugal (Figueira da Foz), you will contribute to developing a Monitoring and Control System (MCS) sub-systems for Satellites and other Space vehicles. 

Your responsibilities

• Analyze the current MCS state of the art
• Assist the team leader and the project manager with regards to the architecture and design of the MCS
• Develop the Mission Control System with the rest of the team
• Create compiling technical documentation
• Performance test and analyses of the MCS elements being developed

Your profile

• Education at a University level within technical subjects (Information Technology) or certificate of apprenticeship within Computer Science, Software Development or in a relevant technical area; Lack of University education can be replaced by relevant experience
• A genuine interest in the space business and technical interest in satellites
• Ability to think practical, work structured and solution-oriented, experience with Java programming.
• Ability to set priorities and dependable in delivering within a time frame
• Computer literate (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access);
• Able to work with minimum supervision as well as in a collaborative environment
• Great interpersonal skills
• Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset.
• EU nationality or work permit for Portugal.
