We are looking for a talented Junior Full Stack Developer to work with us on a dynamic project for one of our international clients.

You will be based on our riverside office in Lisbon.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our amazing team. You should have knowledge on BackEnd & FrontEnd technologies, have frontend skills (like Javascript), have good backend knowledge such PHP 5.6 and also willing to learn new technologies and be responsible to maintain the product according to the needs of the client.

What you will do:

• Updating MySQL records from the spreadsheet. Example 'delete this list of users', 'update a table with this list of status'

• Editing PNG file to meet specific dimensions and replace the background colour

• Manipulate database records to manually enable/disable application modules

• Write custom re-usable queries for clients in MySQL

• Writing CSS to style form for clients

• Add locale to app server (ubuntu) and experience with locales, right to left pages, ASCII / UTF-8 / ISO-1185 encoding

• Debug integrations with third parties through replicating post/get API requests (we work with a number of partners to run background checks etc who rely on API integration)

• Debug JavaScript

• Oauth / Rest experience and debug

• Upload video to S3, then write HTML page to play video from S3

• Barcode generation and standards ( QR, PDF417, i2of5, code128)

• Encryption, public key, private key, passphrase

• 2-factor concepts

• Understanding MySQL concepts to write saved searches. Good knowledge of advanced system usage.

• DNS record management through route 53 and also supporting clients with DNS setup. SPF and DKIM are the main ones used

• Debug IE/mobile issues with CSS/Jquery

Essential Skills:

• HTML5, CSS and JavaScript

• PHP 5.6+

• MySQL 5.6+

Preferred Skills:

• UNIX system admin

• Excel/Google Spreadsheets

• SilverStripe knowledge is a plus

• Basic photo manipulation (Photoshop, Gimp)

• AWS Basics (VPC, RDS, EC2, S3)

• Git

• Bootstrap UI elements

• XML / JSON
