Description

The Junior Business Analyst will report to the Senior Business & Forecasting Analyst. The primary focus will be to support the National Sales Manager, Key Accounts Managers & New Generation Products team with relevant information and analysis to optimize their commercial activities. This will include, amongst others, analysis of market trends, market and sales forecast, performance assessment, identification of share of market gaps and proposal of commercial activities, evaluate investment effectiveness per wholesaler and draft relevant presentations to guide periodic meetings with key wholesalers.

It should be able to provide powerful analytics to the KAMs, Marketing and CRM teams and it should be able to establish and develop relationship with key stakeholders both in Portugal and Spain.

  • Analyze Performance - Analyse performance per brand, channel, area and customer from different sources. Summarize and prioritize main insights and conclusions and propose corrective actions
  • Conduct Trade Segment Analysis - Gather the relevant data to understand how trade segments are performing and how that compares to competitor performance. Identify the trade segments demonstrating highest levels of growth and develop a clear understanding of the role of each trade segment in the consumer funnel. Ensure that insights and opportunities are communicated adequately to the key stakeholders in the business
  • Analyze Competitive Landscape - Develop competitor profiles and propose a SWOT analysis for each one to understand the competitive landscape and anticipate to competitors activities in the trade
  • Evaluate Market Performance - Gather the market data required to assess performance against share, sales, volume, profit, brand objectives. Analyse the raw data to monitor targets compliance. Where targets have not been met, conduct root cause analysis and identify potential improvements for the future
  • Evaluate Investment Effectiveness - Evaluate commercial activities implemented in wholesalers throughout different channels. Develop ad-hoc business cases for business development
