Upgrade m is recruiting a Java Software Engineer to a multinacional telecommunications company.

What you will do:

• Develop Network Management Systems
• Work as an integral part of a cross functional development team
• Participate in the complete development cycle, including analysis, design, implementation and tests of the features
• Active participation in team decisions is expected, to continuously improve the methods, software and team satisfaction
• Debug the existing versions and propose enhancements taking into account the cost/benefit ratio.

What you need to have:

• MSc / BS degrees in Computer Science or related fields
• More than 3 years of experience in Java software development
• Knowledge of software engineering practices and design patterns with focus on Java / J2EE application development
• Experience and knowledge of Object Oriented concepts, data structures and multi-threading
• Experience in Java, J2EE, EJB 3.1, Hibernate, JPA, GWT
• Experience with Application servers (JBOSS will be valued)
• Database concepts and SQL
• General UNIX, specifically Linux, and/or Windows knowledge
• Knowledge of TMN products and Telecommunication Technologies (SDH, OTN, DWDM, Ethernet, IP) will be a plus
• Fluent English, spoken and written
• Ability to travel
