Who are we?

Bru Digital is a subsidiary of Bru Textiles NV, a world leading textiles converter of interior decoration textiles.
We are a team of highly educated and motivated Software Developers & Computer Graphics Experts.
We currently have  JAVA software developers based in Belgium and two in Portugal (Lisbon).

What do we do?

We are building a Digital Asset Pipeline aimed at fully automating the production of photorealistic 3D renders:

  • This service aims to leverage the digital scans we have of our physical fabrics in order to automatically generate marketing and e-commerce materials for our customers.
  • This is achieved by automatically applying our 3D materials to 3D models; placing them in 3D scenes and rendering them out in the cloud.
  • Our Digital Asset Pipeline coordinates this entire procedure from start to finish, taking into account the various product information details provided by our own ERP system.
  • All of this is being implemented in a fully cloud-native way in AWS: AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Kubernetes, Event-driven design and more.

  • You will be working from Portugal 90% of the time, but should be able to travel to Belgium for 2-3 weeks when necessary to discuss new projects and to get to know the team and our company.

Our selection procedure is as follows;

  1. An introductory meeting with HR (remote).
  2. A HackerRank coding test:
    • This is a programming test where you have to solve 3 logical problems (duration: 120 minutes).
    • This is a standard procedure for every candidate to see if you have the required analytical skills.
  3. If you pass the test, an interview with our Lead Developer and IT Director:
    • If this goes well, we will send you an offer within a few days.
