Dellent is a Portuguese consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, focused mainly on IT and Telecommunication services, and we are hiring Java Engineer for a long term contract role in OPorto, Coimbra, Lisbon, Viseu, Vila Real and Tomar.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, reusable and testable software components for highly scalable backend services using Java technology;
• Support the Product Owner with architectural insights and technical knowledge;
• Be part of the team planning and improvement using agile methodologies.

Essencial Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• At least 3 years of experience using Java, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, Maven, Git and Java Application Servers;
• Knowledgeable with web architectures and services (HTTP, SOA, REST, JSON, etc.);
• Familiar with non-relational database concepts;
• Experienced with highly scalable and performant backend services;
• Experienced in working autonomously within and agile environment with automated testing and continuous integration;
• Excellent at solving complex problems;
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
