What is your mission:

Neotalent is looking for a Java Software Engineer to join international projects in our to join international projects in our Novabase Digital Transformation Unit (full remote or hybrid – in Lisbon or Porto).

Main tasks for this position are:

• Translate the client’s business requirements into systems design
• Working with business analysts and management to recommend future application solutions
• Assist in scoping out technical project proposals
• Leading and coaching team members on best practices in software design, development, and processes
• Help in the implementation of a software architecture
• Implement microservices using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

The talent we are looking for:

• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar;
• 2+ years of experience undertaking different responsibilities including Java development, technical and functional analysis and solution design
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
• Command of architecture standards, principles, design patterns, and methodologies
• Knowledge of principles of microservices architecture design
• Ability to analyze existing software to determine areas for continuous improvement
• Proactive, take initiative and contribute with ideas for the business processes;
• Autonomous and with a dynamic attitude;
• Advanced English.
