As an IT Technician you will be responsible and oversee the day-to-day operations of our client´s IT department.

Our client is a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company, based in Sintra.

Description

Installation of PC hardware;

Check and maintain computer hardware such as mouses and keyboards;

Install, configure and manage software and their functions according to specifications;

Develop and maintain local networks;

Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems;

Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner;

Maintain hardware and software inventory;

Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders when necessary;

Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems;

Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment;

Repairing or replacing damaged hardware;

Performing tests, diagnostics and reports on security systems;

Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level;

Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware;

Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting;

Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule;

Managing technical documentation.

Profile

Degree in IT and System Technology field or its equivalent;

At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role;

Professional knowledge working with systems, networking and communications;

Good English level.
