Description

Our client is a leading bank in Europe, and one of the 10th largest banks in the World. It has a presence in 80 countries, with more than 200,000 employees. We’re looking for a talented IT professional to work as IT Support Analyst(m/w) that will join our team located in Lisbon.

 

Professional Experience:

Main Job Purpose:

As part of the Network Custody System Support Team, the consultant could participate in the Production support activities: 

- Monitoring production environments and particularly the Intraday and Night Batch Processes 

- Answering Operational user's requests

- On Call Duties to cover for eventual incident in production environments that may occur between 7.00pm CET) and start of day 2:00am CET)

- Contribute to the setup of the NCS Lisbon Team (Process, Tools, Efficiency, …)

- Current NCS Support Team is deployed in Paris (France), Lisbon (Portugal) and Chennai (India) working in the Follow The Sun Model.

 

Required Skills:

 

Qualifications: 

- Master’s Degree in any discipline (Computer Science preferred) with a good background of software development.

 

Domain / Technical : 

- Experience and ability to perform technical analysis, identify impacts (functional/technical)

- Good understanding of SQL (preferably in DB2) 

- Preferable to have at least 1 year working experience with MVS Mainframe tools (TSO, Scheduler OPC, JCL) and its standard commands

- Knowledge and/or experience of the financial services industry 

- Experience of working with applications with many interfaces to other applications

- English Fluency is mandatory
