We are looking for a IT Specialist for a project based in Lisbon.

The IT Specialist provides the support, implementation and engineering of the infrastructure and applications. Manages existing systems and subsystems, which applications and business streams rely on, and is responsible for troubleshooting in his/her area of responsibility. Evaluates risks and ensures the viability, usability and durability of the solution. To achieve these goals, the IT Specialist collaborates with the whole skill set, i.e. all specialties (architects, engineers, project managers, support function, etc.)
              
This position may involve trips and the availability to work on weekends/ bank holydays, punctually.
 
Main tasks:

• Implementation of Application Portfolio according rules and normalizations;
• Operating, security, and middleware products;
• Storage/Archiving;
• Operating Systems ;
• Meeting with Project Manager;
• Automation of mainly tasks;
• Skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation;
• Knowledge in writing/reading scripts (ksh..);
• Creating Application support/technical documentation;
• Training session for RUN team;

Hard skills

  • Operating system experience required with Linux/AIX/Windows cluster
  • Autosys scheduler experience required

 
Additional qualifications :

  • Knowledge of ITIL;
  •  Master degree required, preferential on the Engineering area;
  • Minimum 3 years financial industry experience;
  • General IT infrastructure knowledge;
  • Particular knowledge and experience with RedHat Linux, Windows, AIX, HP-UX, WAS, CFT and MQ Series;
  • Experience with system scripting;
  • Familiarity with database technologies is required: Oracle, Sybase and SQL Server;
  •  Familiarity with the Ansible deployment tool (considered a plus);
