About the role
We are looking for an IT Service Desk Engineer to provide effective technical support and high levels of customer service. The role will involve handling and resolving desktop/laptop/printer/application issues and basic network/server troubleshooting with the administration. 

Experience / Key Skills
- 1 years’ experience in an IT support role (roles including Service Desk Engineer, 1st / 2nd line IT Support Analyst or IT Technician);
- IT infrastructure support working across a range of up to date technologies including Office 365, Google Suite, Windows 10, Active Directory, Mac OS and Apple iOS;
- Experience in conferencing technologies is a plus;
- Logical and methodical problem-solving skills;
- Ability to convey technical issues simply to end-users;
- Understanding of customer service skills showing empathy, confirming understanding, effective listening etc;
- Fluent in English.

Key Duties
- Resolving 1st and 2nd line technical issues over the telephone, via email, or live chat, in a friendly and professional manner;
- Resolving desktop/laptop/printer/application issues and basic network/server troubleshooting with administration;
- Write easy to follow FAQs, using language normal humans can understand;
- Ensure hardware and software availability, with controlled costs;
- Proactively execute technical tasks so that systems run smoothly.
