Description

We are seeking a talented IT Manager who is willing to go above and beyond the limits of standards and develop truly innovative ways of designing, deploying and maintaining large-scale server, networking and virtualization environments. Along with leading the Infrastructure team, the IT Manager will be responsible for directing change and growth within the infrastructure that will provide a productive, innovative and exciting environment for our users and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, Coordinate and deploy infrastructure related projects
• Work with Project Managers to provide guidance and best practices for client related deployments
• Interact directly with C level staff to plan strategic deployments and policy changes
• Manage the Infrastructure team
• Create and manage the global IT budget
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of all connected systems including but not limited to: Servers, Blades, Switches, Routers, Access Points, SAN devices, VOiP equipment, PCs/MAC and Printers.

• Maintain inventory of Server and Workstation environments.
• Develop and enforce procedures and policies with an emphasis on security and organizational best practices for both Server and Workstation deployments.
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of a diverse virtualization infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain all server and network environments.
• Measure performance and user experience of the server and network environments to account for growth and improve efficiency.
• Write clear and effective technical documentation.
• Plan and design global infrastructure deployments.
• Assist development teams in the design of scalable infrastructure deployments for possible customer implementations.
• Monitor and maintain a CI/CD environment.
• Automate various internal processes in all areas of IT to drive continuous improvement.
• Assist development teams in automating their CI/CD and cloud-based deployments.

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience working as a Systems Administrator.
• Experience with Linux systems including but not limited to RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
• Experience with various virtualization technologies (VMWare ESXi, Citrix XenServer, OpenStack, etc).
• Experience with various networking technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Brocade).
• Experience with BladeCenter technologies (HP C7000 and HP Synergy a plus).
• Experience with various infrastructure services such as DHCP, DNS, LDAP, SMTP, IMAP, Radius, etc.
• Experience with various platform services such as Apache, NGINX, Tomcat, MySQL, Postgres, Jenkins, Docker, Veeam, etc.
• Experience with public and private cloud infrastructures (AWS, Google, Azure, etc).
• Experience with scripting languages such as PHP, Perl, Python, etc.
• Experience with Windows and MAC workstation environments.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco switching environments.
• Experience using GIT as a versioning system.
• Good soft skills.
• Work well under pressure.
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English.
