We are a growing company within the Leiria area, working nationally and internationally, we are looking for talented people to join our team.

We currently have a position for an IT Manager / Administrator within the Manufacturing Industry, in Leiria region, for a mid-sized company.

We are looking for someone with a transversal background, allowing to cover the overall IT perimeter, within a Microsoft ecosystem mainly. This is a full-time position, working directy for the customer, with our company support in central.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability and management of existing IT scope (ERP, HR, Emails, Databases, Servers).

• Lead IT projects and is force of proposition in implementing new methods and technologies to improve the company performance.

• Ensure the IT support for company collaborators, and is the interface for external suppliers, in application, networking, operating system, micro.

• Manage the communication and network infrastructures.

• Last but definitely not least: Keep our clients satisfied.

Required Competencies

• Training in Computer Science or related area (Bachelor degree is desirable).

• Being self-driven, autonomous, pragmatic, goal oriented, flexible, professional and a team player.

• Client relationship management and communication capability.

• Interest in the Manufacturing area.

• Knowledge in Microsoft stack and System Administration.

• Problem solving capability.

• Ability to document your own work.

• English speaking.

Optional but Valuable Competencies

• Prior experience working within the same ecosystem as our customer.

• Prior experience within the same position and environment.

• Prior experience dealing with or supporting directly clients (either in person or remotely - this last mode, remotely, being highly valuable).

• German speaking.
