The Makings of an IT Inspector 

This role is perfect for someone who understands the underlying components that make up the infrastructure, including its various components (networking, server administration, etc.). With good decision-making skills, you’ll help co-ordinate the efforts of the Inspectors team in supporting the company IT platforms.

This person will have a background of working in and with support teams, who cares about people but has a very strong focus on quality of service and response, excellency of metrics and attention to detail. In addition to handling and supporting the IT platforms, this person will also work closely with the IT Manager in delivering a top of the line service to the company, contributing to ensure availability and capacity of systems and tools thus improving the overall experience of our community with the IT ecosystem.

Whatever you’re working on, here’s the lowdown on the technical skills you’re likely to possess:

• Experience in datacenter operations and architecture.
• Knowledge in specifying system requirements and designing solutions
• Experience in network administration, understanding TCP/IP networks
• Experience in Windows, Linux and cloud-based and virtualization system administration
• Experience with scripting Languages and OSs: Python, Perl, Unix, Windows, Linux
• Excellent writing skills (policies, procedures, etc.)
• Knowledge in IT Service Management(ITIL / Cobit is a plus)

• Pragmatism and ability to deal with complexity
• Strong ability to understand and interpret stakeholder needs and requirements
• Proven experience of a minimum of five years in similar roles
• Provider management
• Constantly updated knowledge of technology innovations
• Good people skills to foster a supportive environment
• Agile mindset to ensure a flexible and innovative IT operations team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (Portuguese and English)
• A real passion for learning, doing things better, improving service and helping others – and an ability to turn ideas into realities.
• German language skills will be a plus.
