Mission

Altran is looking for an IP Network Engineer, who will:

  • Work in a multivendor Enterprise Network;
  • Create requirements for new services;
  • Design & Support technical solutions for enterprise customers;
  • Experience Working with Cisco, Alcatel switches and routers;
  • Technical documentation skills to build and analyses HLDs and LLDs;
  • Experience in support costumers RFQ´s for new products our services;
  • Performing investigation for priority issues;
  • Maintains awareness of technology trends in area of responsibility and makes appropriate recommendations;
  • Meet commitments and deliverables as related to participating/leading projects.

 

Profile

  • Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or similar;
  • More than 3 years of experience;
  • Advanced experience of Cisco and Nokia networking services and products to at least CCNA\NRS1 certification level (CCNP\NRS2 preferable);
  • Advanced technical knowledge of routing and switching in the following protocols:
  • BGP and IS-IS, L2VPN services, L3VPNs services, HSRP/VRRP, VRF, VPC and LACP;
  • Advanced experience of at least some of the following: Cisco or Nokia products including practical experience in a corporate environment preferably serving customers;
  • Strong troubleshooting knowledge to TCP/IP Network traces/packet captures and define solutions;
  • Sense of responsibility;
  • Pro-activity and dynamism;
  • Good knowledge of English;
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English.
