About Lapa Studio

Lapa Studio is a technological startup from the Polygon Group with a fun, creative and innovative mindset, which is focused on the development of IoT (Internet of Things) devices and systems.

Created in 2013, it was behind the biggest product crowdfunding campaign in Portugal with the release of Lapa – a Bluetooth tracker for personal belongings, pets, and children –, and is already present in more than 80 countries.

Using Lapa technology, we are currently developing a new product that promises to revolutionize the traditional authentication, payments, and marketing methods in the soccer world, and that’s why we need you.

About the Role

We are hiring an iOS Developer that loves to develop elegant and intuitive mobile applications, and is able to deal with requirements from different partners and clients.

The candidate should be self-driven, flexible and willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Skills

The iOS Developer should be skillful and have experience in developing mobile iOS applications, and should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor, Masters in Informatics Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrotechnical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in mobile iOS applications: Swift, Cocoa Touch and other Apple Frameworks (Objective-C experience is a plus)
• We value experience with CoreLocation and CoreBluetooth and interaction with the Bluetooth and iBeacon devices
• We value experience with FRP Framework: ReactiveCocoa, RxSwift
• Experience with database integration: SQL, MongoDB
• Experience with Webservices integration: PHP, RESTful API, JSON
• Experience in Agile and versioning methodologies: JIRA, Scrum, GIT
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Leadership and team-work spirit
• Self-driven and willing to learn new technologies
