Our client is a multinational company and he is looking for a Infrastructure Architect for Lisbon.
The Infrastructure Architect is an experienced, self-motivated individual responsible to design and develop the digital platforms that are powering TLScontact applications. Working collaboratively with Solution Architects, Network Architects, Software Engineers as well as Business and Operations departments, the Infrastructure Architect scope extends from Cloud platforms to Containers, CI/CD and Data Center architecture, and other solutions aiming at improving the security, reliability, and performance of the technology infrastructure.

Responsibilites:

Innovation: research and deliver new disruptive Infrastructure solutions to support the business growth.

Continuous Improvement: develop and enhance existing solutions.

Engineering: design new platforms and tools to support TLScontact applications.

Work along with onshore and offshore engineering team members with regards to sprint planning, release planning, and work prioritization across the portfolio.

Collaborate with a team of distributed staff and consultants to deliver complex solutions.
Security: build Security and Compliance into the Infrastructure. Prepare audits and respond to vulnerability findings.
Pre-Sales: provide technological expertise on existing and new solutions to support Business Development initiatives.

Troubleshooting: help DevOps and Service Operations to address escalated issues, perform root cause analysis and remediate incidents.

Operational Integration: provide documentation and training to Service Operations DevOps Engineers to achieve operational excellence.

Scope of expertise:

Microservices and CI/CD (Kubernetes Openshift/OKD, Gitlab CI/CD)

Cloud and Data Center environments (AWS, Yandex, Alibaba, VMware)

Shared Services (DNS, Updates, Repositories, User Directories, Monitoring tools, etc…)

Any future digital infrastructure solution supporting TLScontact applications.




requisitos/requirements
Profile:

Minimum Bachelor’s, preferably Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional trainings.
8+ years of professional experience with Infrastructure engineering/architecture.

Solid understanding of secure Internet protocols and mechanisms to implement them.

Experience administrating large, multi-account Cloud and hybrid environments (Landing Zone concept).

Experience operating distributed, highly available, containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience implementing and operating monitoring solutions.

Excellent knowledge of AWS, CI/CD (Gitlab).

Demonstrated experience writing Infrastructure-as-code using some of the following tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet.

Knowledge and experience with the following (the more, the better): AWS, Linux (RHEL), Bash, Gitlab, Kubernetes (Openshift), Consul, Packer, HAproxy, Apache HTTPD, Nginx, PostgreSQL, Nexus, Elasticsearch, VMware.

AWS Certified SysOps Administrator and/or Solutions Architect preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
